BANK “ROSSIYA” Joins “Integrated Card Scheme” Settlement System

On September, 18, 2012, BANK “ROSSIYA” became a member of the United Settlement System (USS).

Participation in USS will help to improve service infrastructure for holders of BANK “ROSSIYA” bank cards, make the Bank’s services more accessible and convenient, and expand geographical coverage of its client base.

Bank clients will now be able to withdraw cash and make payments across the network of banks participating in the settlement system in line with BANK “ROSSIYA” charges.

Holders of BANK “ROSSIYA” payroll cards will be able to withdraw cash commission-free from any ATM within the USS system.

The USS settlement system brings together the ATMs and cash withdraw and payment points of over 100 lending organizations, including major banks such as Gazprombank, Sobinbank, Nomos-Bank and Rosbank, under the common USS logo. The service infrastructure for holders of USS bank cards currently consists of over 22,000 service points across the RF, including over 17,000 ATMs.

From October 20, 2012, BANK “ROSSIYA”’s own network, comprising 679 facilities, including 371 ATMs, will be available to all holders USS member bank cards.  

The USS project has been approved by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and is fully consistent with the Russian Government’s policy of developing accessible payment infrastructure within the country.
